Active home buyers will appreciate the pedestrian-friendly nature of Mill Pond; many daily needs can be met by walking. However, this neighbourhood is not especially amenable to biking because there are a good number of hills, and the cycling network is not particularly extensive. Mill Pond is not especially transit friendly. Nevertheless, it is convenient to come across a nearby rapid transit station, including Yonge / Elgin Mills and Yonge / Crosby with access to the blue | VIVA BLUE, from the greater part of homes in the neighbourhood. There are approximately 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. In contrast, cars are a fairly good means of transportation in Mill Pond. It is straightforward to park.

It is easy to access the nearest grocery store on foot in Mill Pond. A limited number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well. In terms of education, parents and their kids will value the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from most houses for sale in Mill Pond.
