Transportation
Brookside is a very good part of Fredericton for driving. It is very convenient to park. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in Brookside because very few daily errands can be run on foot.

Reaching the nearest grocery store by walking is practical for some, but not all, home buyers in this neighbourhood. A limited variety of restaurants is available in this part of Fredericton as well. With regards to education, this area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In addition, daycares are not especially plentiful and consequently not always within walking distance.

People who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy Brookside. This area is very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Finally, parks are very well-located and there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in, making it easy to access them.
