It is easy for pedestrians to get around in City Centre; meeting daily needs is convenient on foot, and a variety of businesses are quite close by. This part of Kelowna is quite car friendly. Coming across a parking spot is easy. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be sometimes challenging in City Centre due to the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by around 10 bus lines, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties.
Services
It is straightforward to reach the nearest supermarket by walking from most homes for sale in City Centre. Furthermore, this neighbourhood is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. A good variety of clothing stores can also be found within a rather short walking distance. Regarding education, in City Centre, families will generally be able to access primary schools and daycares on foot. However, there are no high schools in City Centre.
Character
People who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy City Centre. This area is quiet overall, as the streets tend to be reasonably peaceful. Lastly, access to green spaces is very easy from most locations in the neighbourhood, since there are a few of them close by for residents to visit and most houses for sale have a park around the corner.
